Changes on the Home Page
If you visit my website on a daily or semi-daily basis, you may have noticed that there has been an alteration to the Daily Prayer Journal which appears on the homepage of said website.
First of all, I should say that I have been finding it increasingly more difficult to add content, especially on the Homepage, on a daily basis. I simply have to admit that I am finding it difficult to sit at my computer for long periods of time. My health continues to be a concern for me. Consequently, I beg your indulgence and hope that you will continue to visit my website on a regular basis.
Secondly, the Daily Prayer Journal formerly included an exercise in "Lectio Divina" from Abbott Austin Murphy of St. Procopius Benedictine Monastery in Lisle. I have replaced that section of the Daily Prayer Journal with my own attempt at guiding you through this method of reading the Scriptures. You might remember that during the season of Lent, I homed in on a single word or a short phrase that we could carry with us throughout the day. That exercise has led me to composing my own version of "Lectio."
As always, I want to assure all of you of my prayers for you and your intentions. As I grow older, I recognize how important is the relationship between me and my friends. May God bless all of you.
